MikeyD is heading out of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia tomorrow the Ambulance will be leaving at noon time. He is for sure going to be missed all the nurses and doctors are coming to see him to say goodbye a lot said they are sad to see him leaving. A couple of nurses came in tonight to say good bye and they had tears in their eyes.
MikeyD will be going to the Children's Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick for a few Months.
it is closer to home and hopefully he will have more friends come to visit him the doctors say the best thing for him right now is familiarity.

ReplyDeleteAwesome news I cant wait to be able to visit!! I brought Jesus in Holy Communion to a home-bound parishioner on Sunday and on the way out of her house I slipped on her aluminum wheelchair ramp as it was raining..I broke 3 bones in my ankle so they are doing surgery next Wednesday putting screws and plates in and fixing the bones and everything else in there that got messed up...Just staying off it till then..which gives me plenty of time to pray for you guys! Lord, May MikeyDs new home away from home be filled with lots of loving hearts and caring hands, May MikeyD feel comfortable there and May You Lord Jesus be the biggest presence in the room..the Divine Healer and Divine Physician in their every moment...Healing MikeyD so he can eat and speak and let Mom and Dad know what he needs..Thank You Lord..and please St Anne and Mother Mary and Mikeyds Guardian Angel and all the Angel and Saints..St, Michael the ArchAngel..please bring our prayers to our Heavenly Father and tell him we ask in Jesus's Holy Name to Please Heal MikeyD and let him use his beautiful voice to speak to his Mom and Dad..Thank you for the gift of Faith..We believe and we Thank you and Praise You Lord Jesus!! I was very happy to read that MikeyD will be coming closer to home. It is another positive step in his recovery ... a BIG one!! We continue to pray and send lots of positive, healing energy to Mighty Mike (and to Mrs. Dunne too!!). I'm sure he'll like the ambulance ride!! I hope this is the last leg of his journey before returning home!! I wish he could remember us from all that time ago, but he was just a baby, so I'm not sure our faces would be familiar--as it was Julia was just a young one when we left the neighborhood--still I can see him as the little blond one tagging after his sisters-what a cute little chub he was!! hope he settles in his new digs quickly--love

HOORAY....OUT OF THE HOSPITAL AND ON TO RECOVERY!!!! I'm so happy you're on your way Mikey. A lot of hard work ahead, but I know you're up for the challenge.
