I am sitting on the chair next to MikeyD's bed the company just left and he is sound asleep. How long will he sleep no one knows he may wake up ready to go for the night in a few minutes. He did not sleep for two days before this .
I never knew how happy you could make a little kid by cutting a cast that was too tight off his leg.
he is hanging out with a cast on his right leg and one air-Jordan high top basketball sneaker on his left foot since Thursday night and is fine with it.
MikeyD had a great day Friday he was much more comfortable than he was on Wednesday and Thursday. Friday night Chris and Jen came up to visit MikeyD and he had a blast with them he really likes the way Chris dances that got the belly laugh going then he had a good time with Jen going over some sign language. He had fun thumb wrestling with them. Today was another real good day for MikeyD because of all the company he had it started early in the day and just ended tonight the Hills left shortly before the Hilfikers and Uncle Seamus who just left, one of the nurses came up to me and said he is having the best day I have seen yet you could see the smile on his face all day because off all the company the Dr. at CHOP was right the best thing for him is to have a bunch of people he knows friends and relatives around him. he was smiling, laughing and joking all day. Anyone that has been hear to visit MikeyD will tell you for a kid that can’t talk he sure can communicate and have a good sense of humor. He even made his sisters Julia and Ciara think that they made him cry the other day and then he started laughing .Thank you for coming to visit MikeyD today and please keep the company coming the more the better. I really think that hanging out in the family room with a bunch of friends like he did today will help him to get his voice back one day. Thank you God for giving MikeyD two pain free days with family and friends.

Thank You Lord Jesus for hearing our prayers and for giving MikeyD pain-free days..Thank You Lord for the friends you are sending to MikeyD to get him laughing and communicating in any way he can..Thank You Lord for the gift of Love knowing that Love is the greatest gift of all..We pray for Mikey to keep on having healing moments..one after the other..healing days and healing nights..let him sleep and rest and heal..let him dream sweet dreams and let him be able to use his voice..Lord Jesus, thank You for the 2 great days..When You Healed the ten and only one came back to say Thank You...You asked where are the other nine...Lord we are here thanking You..Please continue to heal our MikeyD..We asked you to Free him from any pain.. to end the suffering and to let him be comfortable..let him feel You with him in every moment on this journey towards his complete healing..to give him one healing moment after another..Thank You Jesus for freeing him from pain..Thank you Lord for the healing moments..We Praise Your Holy Name and we are all looking forward to the day when Mike and Moya post that our MikeyD is using his voice and how he is eating and how is coming home..We know with God all things are possible..You are our Hope..You are our God You are our Healing God..Thank You Jesus..We ask this in Your Holy Name..Please St. Anne and St. Andrew and St. Michael the Archangel and MikeyDs Guardian Angel..bring our prayers to Our Heavenly Father and tell Him we are asking in Jesus's Holy Name..We need a miracle here..and we know that ALL is Possible With God!

DeleteI'm so relieved he had two pain free days, We continue our prayer vigil for Mighty Mikey D recovery. Tell Mikey Julia, Ciera and I are going pumpkin picking today. We are going to get him the best pumpkin we can find.

I am so grateful for a good two days for Michael. I hope they just keep on coming. Today, in Church, I prayed for his voice to return and for his recovery to continue in leaps and bounds. Of course, I prayed for your entire family as well. We think of you all every day and read this blog, always rejoicing in the victories and crying with you in the moments of pain of suffering. We plan on visiting this Saturday. Jonathan really wants to see his friend.
