Big Day for MikeyD today he blessed
himself it took a while but he did it.
the chaplain came around and we were
saying some prayers over him and he looked up and blessed himself no one could believe
it. After that Lauren from speech therapy came in and he started to swallow
pretty good today so she gave him some Mac N Cheese and some French fries and
he ate them. Then after that he had 2 grape Hawaiian shaved ices during the day
thanks to Dennis Povall he sent him the machine so we make them right here with
a bunch of DVD's then he watched angels in the outfield !
Remember the healing mass tomorrow
at 7:30 PM St. Mary’s !!!
Saint Anne I beg of you to stand vigil over
Mighty MikeyD . Heal Mighty MikeyD soothe Mighty MikeyD, console Mighty MikeyD
and bless Mighty MikeyD keep each of us under your protection and guide us to
our good Jesus our God Jesus he will understand Me. he will know how to help I will rest in his
Mercy Amen.

Wow, Mikey you have quite a few accomplishments to check off your "THINGS TO DO LIST" I spoke to Aunt Jean Marie today and she told me about your ball and basket game and I thought THAT was GREAT. But this is FANTASTIC!!!! Keep up the good work and forget about the pudding, BRING ON THE CHEESE BURGERS BABY!!! And those tears are a wonderful thing it's another part of Mikey that hasn't worked in a month.....THAT A BOY MIKEY, WE'RE ROOTING FOR YOU...LETS GO!!!!. ReplyDeletePraise our healing Father in Heaven. Mike, that is simply the best news I have heard in months! Keep praying. He is like a guy playing a YoYo walking up the stairs. It would be easy to get distracted by the ups and downs of a YoYo, but instead always focus on the fact that he is moving up the stairs. I pray that day by day his muscle memory and all cognitive functions are restored and that he makes progress every week, even if not every day
