Day 8 night time

The doctors just came around and said that the MRI of the heart did not show any problems.

he now has a blood clot in his left arm but they will not be able to treat it  yet due to the medications that he is on.the breathing machine is off and he just has oxygen so the lungs are improving.

the doctors said they will have to do a Catheterization  next week to take another look at the heart.
keep posting please.

  5. Mikey D! We all know from baseball and basketball how much of a fighter you are. Now is the time to fight your hardest. You will beat this thing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family every day. And Mike...if you ever get a little down, know that I am there with my hand on your shoulder, just like in baseball, telling you that I am confident that everything will be ok.

  9. He's a Doherty, he's a Fighter. All real. But Lord, we humble ourselves and ask you to lift us up. In our weakness we will take on your strength. We know that you would never give us a cross that we could not bear. Please extend your merciful, healing hand to this young man and heal him like you did every time you were asked to do so while you were with us in the flesh.Disolve this clot, heal his organs, and replace his health with your perfect health so that he may use this experience some day as his testimony about you, to others in need of you. In the end , all we have is our testimony and the blood of the lamb. One day Mikey can be used by you to show others your power.

    1. Dear Michael & the Doherty Family,
Our daughter Maggie goes to school with Michael and I teach CCD at St. Agnes, so we just wanted to let you know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. We hope that Michael gets stronger each day and returns home soon.
      God Bless,
      Maggie & the Franzreb Family
Ps. Please tell Michael Maggie says "Micheal! Michael! Hey!" (thats how they say hello to one another everyday at Bayshore!)
