Mighty MikeyD continues fighting the fight every day !
He has some good days and some bad days today was one
of those bad days. MikeyD’s thoughts get distracted.
This weekend was a
good one MikeyD went to Ciara's basketball game on Sunday and met Mr. Capro
which was great. Mr. Capro got to see Ciara making 3's for MikeyD and the ref
Richie who use to ref a lot of MikeyD's games got to see Ciara shooting 3's for
MikeyD and both he and Mr.Capro said you are taking your brothers place on the
court shooting them 3's Ciara had a big game Sunday.
This time last
year MikeyD was playing basketball against Mr. Capro's team. You can see his
post below from yesterday. Mr. Capro is also a teacher from Bayshore and a
friend who use to have fun with MikeyD in the halls of Bayshore last year after
the games. MikeyD was always quiet and did not like attention. Mr.Capro knew
how to get him going. I wish I had a picture of Mr.Capro sitting with MikeyD
yesterday at the game to post here.
Maybe we will come
to your game next week bring the other MikeyD who is Mikey Dunn and a get a
picture of you, Mikey Dunn and MikeyD for another win. When we came home from Ciara’s
basketball game Mrs. Roditis came to visit MikeyD she is also a Bayshore
teacher and a friend who has taught Julia, Ciara and MikeyD in her classes.
Mrs. Roditis delivered a great present to MikeyD for his Birthday her sons signed
a birthday card and gave him a baseball signed by David Wright.
David Wright is MikeyD’s favorite baseball player as most of you
know from reading the blog and seeing MikeyD wearing his David Wright Jersey
that Rocky and family sent him while he was still in CHOP. Mrs. Roditis had
just watched MikeyD pitch against her son Michael’s team in June. MikeyD say’s
thank you Mrs. Roditis for the signed David Wright baseball and the Ice Cream.
Last but not least everyone is asking if MikeyD has a name for his new puppy.
When we got the puppy from the rescue his name was Sir Lancelot MikeyD has renamed him Peanut from Charlie
Brown.
Let us hope and pray that MikeyD keeps getting Better and Better
as uncle Ken said in his last post I was looking
at a miracle. A miracle in sneakers . MikeyD is a true miracle.
We Believe in Miracles !!!

Prayer is an act of Love, words are not needed. Even if Sickness
distracts thoughts…All that is needed is the will to love.
Hey Mikey, looking good !!! Keep working hard and the miracles will continue. We continue in prayer,hope and faith. Your puppy is soooo cute and I love the name Peanut!!

Our Miracle is out at basketball games and having fun and his new dog Peanut will add more LOVE to his life..Mikey Dunne would love to come to a game..He has games this weekend with the St, Marys Team but we will get there with MikeyD..So happy that Ciara is hitting the 3s for her brother!! Go CIARA!!! We all have our good days and our bad days and being distracted from school work is one of my MikeyDs top struggle. He figures why study? They will give me a re-do..we are working on that .. My MikeyD is quiet too as you know as you were his Coach so many times...you gotta get him going too.. He always loved playing with Mikey and always loved how you fought to have him on your team..They will be playing together again..Your MikeyD will be hitting those 3s soon enough..some more healing..some more cheeseburgers and lots more mac and cheese..we ALL BELIEVE IN THIS MIRACLE..OUR MIKEYD MIRACLE..I will be in touch for the times of the game this weekend and hopefully we can be there with MikeyD..Thank you for keeping us updated and taking the time to posti and share this Miracle with us...Please Lord Jesus, continue Healing MikeyD and give him ALL he needs to get through each day..Make the road smoother..carry him when he is tired..give him rest when he needs it..Guide all the caretakers so they give the best care to Mikey and May Mikey be completely spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, academically, healed..recharged..Thank You Sweet Jesus...WE are REJOICING LORD You are our HOpe and our Help in time of need..YOU are the WAY..
ReplyDeleteSaint Marys is having another Healing Mass this Friday and of course Father Jeff will lift up MikeyD in the intentions for the Mass..so if you would like to come and pray for continued Healing for MikeyD the Mass is Friday at 8pm..we will start praising God in song at 7:30....we are prayed over by the Priests and you can stand in prayer for MikeyD I hope to see many of you there!
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is how absolutely proud I am of you Mikey for all of your accomplishments. I tell everyone in my family about you and we all can't believe how far you have come. Dominick and Paul are so excited when you call and love to be with you. Don't stop fighting because everyday you will get much stronger. Stay positive and always believe that nothing is ever impossible.

Keep fighting MikeyD. Keep a positive outlook. I love the name Peanut for your new puppy. I have a Beagle named Baily but I also call him Peanut which he loves. He knows when I call out for him with the name Peanut it means we are going for a walk or he is getting a treat! Big Mike, I read your post all the time. I hope you keep it going so all of the ones that are far away can all be kept informed. I know it's a lot to keep up with but thank you for always sharing your personal life with all of us on the blog.

So keep working hard, but take breaks to rest and play and be the delightful young man you are! Your determination and spirit are inspirational to many. And you are being prayed for constantly! I look at my MikeyD bracelet 30+ times a day and thank God that you are alive and fighting to regain your whole health! I know it's a struggle, I am sure you get frustrated ... but please know that your efforts are going to help you in the long run. Your progress is both a miracle and a testament to you and your family's refusal to give up! Never give up hope and always know that you are in our prayers!
Give Peanut a good scratch behind the ears for us!

Just got to hug Moya at the Healing Mass!! Our God is an Awesome God!! Our God is Our Healer!!! So happy to hug Moya!!! I came home praising God and feeling so Blessed!! Just to be a part of this Great Miracle Among Us!! Loved hearing about how MikeyD is doing and all about the puppy..I have a Beagle a boy who never howls thank God but he eats and eats and can eat all day and Moya said that is what their new puppy wants to do too..eat..Thank You Lord for the gift of Faith..for the gift of Prayer .. and most of all thank You for the gift of LIFE in our MIKEYD..Thank You for Healing our Miracle Mighty MikeyD..ALL the Glory to YOu OH GOD!!
